The Envy template for FrontPage by FrontPageHowTo.com!

Getting Started:

This is the center table of the page where your main content will go. Feel free to add more tables and/or cells but just keep them within the confines of this table.

WARNING: Add tables only in this center section. Adding tables and cells in other sections may distort the alignment of the graphics on the page.

To install this template on your computer, do the following:

1. Extract the contents of the .zip file to a location on your computer.

Modifying navigation:

The navigation files are stored in the "includes" folder.

Include pages make navigation maintenance real easy. Since every page in your web uses the includes page, simply making a change to one of these pages updates your entire site.

For the left hand navigation, open the appropriate include file and:

  • Place your cursor in the cell of the bottom link
  • On the menu bar, click Table > Insert > Rows & Columns
  • Select Rows and then Below Selection
  • Click Ok and Ok again
  • Enter your new link in the new cell

Adding new pages:

Use the template pages when adding new pages. Simply open the file and before you make any changes to it, click File > Save As and save it with a new file name. After you have added your content, update the include navigation pages with your new page.

Cascading Style Sheets:

Text formatting, scroll bar and hyperlink rollover effects are applied with a cascading style sheet. You can modify font size, color and rollover effects by modifying the style sheet directly. It is recommended that you make a back up copy of the style sheet before making modifications to it. For more information on style sheets, see:
