HDMI™ (High-Definition Multimedia Interface)
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is the industry standard, all digital, uncompressed, audio/video connection. This single cable connection ensures that the A/V signal transfers from the source device to the display device in its pure digital form. HDMI utilizes HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection), and is compatible with legacy DVI connections.
Benefit: This single cable connection ensures that all signals remain in their pure digital form and secure by use of High Definition Copy Protection (HDCP) regardless of signal output resolution.
